Helen Keller once was asked what could be worse than being born blind to which she replied, “To have sight without vision.”
Indeed there is a big difference between sight and vision. Sight is what we see with our human eyes, while vision is what we see through God’s eyes. Sight is generated from our brain at work in the body, while vision is generated from the Lord at work in our heart. Both are significant, but vision is so much more important.
Regardless of our visual acuity, may we courageously put on the lens of faith so that we can fully perceive God’s high-definition vision for our life and ministry.
For we walk by faith, not by sight ~ 2 Corinthians 5:7
